Cylindrical Roller Bearing has an inner ring and two integral flanges while the outer removable ring has no flanges. Axial displacement of the shaft with respect to the housing can be accommodated in both directions. The rollers in a single row cylindrical roller bearing are always guided between the integral flanges on one of the rings. Combined with the special designed and surface finished roller ends, the flanges will provide improved lubrication, and reduce friction. N Design is typically used as non-locating bearings as it can accommodate heavy radial loads and high speeds.
